F. PARLAPANI
Greek

Fani Parlapani was born in Rhodes, Greece in 1939. Her talent for painting was recognized from a very early age. She studied painting in Paris and London, and continued on to Italy where she took part in various exhibitions in Florence and Bologna.

Although she fell in love with the Italian landscape and coastline, she returned to her native Greece where she found great inspiration for her painting. Her style is free and flowing, full of vivid color and texture. She works with the palette knife, and with every stroke she creates movement and depth. Her paintings are so soft it is as if you could feel the gentle breezes that are blowing in from the Mediterranean.

Parlapani lives in Athens and she is dedicated to painting her countries beautiful landscape, coastline, authentic fishing villages, harbors, and romantic islands. With every stroke of the palette knife, she expresses her love and admiration of the beauty that is Greece.
