VASILY IVANOVITCH GRIBENNIKOV
Russian
Vasily was born in Rosotov, Russia in 1951. The
Don river flows through Rosotov and the boats sailing along the river
inspired an early artistic talent in Vasiliy. He often sat along the shore
of the river and drew.
Upon high school graduation Vasiliy enrolled in the Cuban Government University
to further his artistic studies. He developed his painting abilities and
refined his technique. After receiving his diploma he returned to Russia
to dedicate himself fully to his love of painting. His success was immediate
and he traveled throughout Russia painting and exhibiting. This tour lead
to international success.
